Good job Tammie...

One thing, take it or leave it... since you're shooting for a new web site, you may want to consider standardizing your image backgrounds... or not...

Nice Tammie, but I think you should photo shop out the greens in the middle pics that are in the water.... (daisy foliage was one, I think)
Just a suggestion.. :blowkiss:

Thanks for the advice - I can do it in the edit software of my camera... Just havn't got that far yet! :O)

Do we think a black on everything is okay? or should I be taking pics like on a desk or something? With Props?

Thanks Rhonda.. I had not thought about the greens in the bottom... I knew that some cropping was needed for the background... but had not thought about the greens! THANKS!

I used to do nothing but a black background...

I decided I don't always want a black background.

We always make sure to pull out the greens, and change the water before something goes out or get photographed.

These are "untweaked" so be gentle. I did this yesterday.

that black pops the design.

Well Shannon, I was waiting till I got back in from convention to really take a look. As far as a background.....your black is much neater in appearance. Of course, the black container against the black background fades into invisibility.

As far as the design itself.......I like the design. Clean lines, excellent focal development. If I were seeing this in professional competition......the only thing I would question is the use of lilies and anthuriums together.....that is two form flower patterns.....They could 'fight' each other for dominance in the composition.

Here's some of my every day.
I'm starting to try to wean myself off of the angel vine.
I tend to find something, love it, and use it to oblivion.
My customer base likes a nice full bouquet.

I tend to prefer black backgrounds in photos, although, in this case, the design looks like is does not have container, like it is" floating."
If feels uncomfortable.
Definitely pops from the black.
For website photos, I don't care for "Material" backgrounds, where it looks like material, and you can see the folds etc, black or any color.
I like photos that have more of a natural setting for the backgrounds.
Like how they would be in real life.

Shannon, I like the design and don't feel the two focal flowers are
fighting for attention. But, if there is a "rule" to designing, I like
to break it!

We had an tablecenter order for a guy who doesn't really like flowers, insisted on all natural materials, no bling, easy care, long lasting. So ... a terrarium. The tubes are wrapped in spanish moss, salal leaves & birch bark, stuffed with cello with just a little soil at the top for the succulents. The stones and shell slices looked better in life than in the photo.

We need a new backdrop. I like cherrie's.

Cherrie's photography is great and her material hangs down
nicely, her lighting makes the designs pop. I like the consistent
look of all the same background.

Cherrie - those are beautiful - My customer base is the same way... something like Shannon did just does sell in my shop - They like a "just picked" style around here... Lush full and gardeny...

Great job to everyone that is creating their own pics.

So here are my new ones. First time I have gone with no background. Tell me your Honest Opinions

Loving everyones work btw.

Eric, i think your pictures look excellent. They look very professional whilst maintaining the "real thing" look.

For your photographic backgrounds....I have a tip for you.

Go to most any window decor store and buy different colors of VINYL PULL DOWN SHADES.

Mount them above your photo taking area.....pull down the appropiate shade for the color of flowers, and snap away

Smooth surface, no wrinkles from cloth, clean, and professional appearing.

Eric I have always loved Linhs' work!!! What is the girls name with the long dark hair?
She did a Ginger, Bells, lily piece from youtube that I adore!!

I really like the hot pink pail with the twigs handle we do one similar in a limey green small ceramic container. Alas, I can't get that container anymore, so thanks for the idea. I'll spray some white pails hot pink.

Eric your a great guy!
