I am working on some different backgrounds today - I will post later for y'alls opinions... Trying to work on the site today! My DSL has been off and on for 4 days... I hope they fixed it!

So Linh is my wife and the girl with long hair is her cousin Chieu. The one that laughs a lot. Chieu has been working for us for almost 5 years now and linh has taught her everything. She is just as good as Linh but don't even think of taking her away.

A couple more...we get a lot of tourists/out of towners that come in a couple of days before the weekend and need flowers for a party. It's really low stress because they usually just go with what we have on hand (our cooler is well stocked at this location this time of the year). We did 12 of the small centerpieces and 2 vases. Fun, fast, and profitable!

Love this customer.... Called on Wed. to have a $100 arrangement for his wife delivered for their Anniversary on Saturday. Since we had two weddings, my designeer made it on Thursday. Well, since we were so prepared, he called on Friday..." I usually send a dozen long stem roses, how much do you charge?? $64.95?? O.K. just add some more flowers and make it $150 plus delivery.... I think I did a dance and then omg what am I going to use, as everything was in a low lush vase...
Here is what I made yesterday morning. 12 red roses, hydrangea, black callas, jasmine, interesting thing in the vase, flax, seashells and curly willow. I hope she liked it.

They were all under $40 and under, and the arrangment with the antheriums $90 was done earlier this week for an order for a birthday .

My eyes are always led by crisp and clean backgrounds which is I why I don't personally favour material... it is generally too distracting to the focal point, the flowers.

Very enjoyable thread.

Just a reminder that sharing the photos here is wonderful, but getting them out to be viewed by consumers is more profitable.

Please;
- Publish them on your website
- Add them to your Facebook page
- Put them on your blog
- And it you don't have a blog (or even if you do), add them to the FC Gallery and link to your shop site.

Title them well and add a useful description to make the viewer experience even more interesting.

Thank you for the reminder, working on my gallery for my website and watermarking my designs. Lots of time consuming work and making them has been at the priority. Seems I work 7 days a week and still.... OK I have whined enough.

Anyhoo-
I see no problem putting lilies and antherium together.
or ginger and carns together
or anything that doesn't seem to go together. I say 'why not'.

I like it, the customers like it.

BTW, the black background is also "material" It's black velvet.

I don't care too much for the burlap background either...But that's what Amy bought.
Like I said- the pics hadn't been yet tweaked.

Amy is a graphic designer... All the creases can be taken away. She a very very good graphic designer I might add. So I have a bit of an advantage. But if you don't have an Amy, you can always steam your fabric back grounds.

but some colors need the black to pop!

These are all black backgrounds.. BETTER? Do we still need work? I like them - but let me know what y'all think!
