I had the same problem, Aileen. And I have twins!
 
Hey Fly, I join you on not hearing a thing!!! But I still like my music loud !!!
I do know if I'm in a room with alot of back ground sounds I can't hear clearly.
Do tend to speak louder too. Just an age thing. haha
Who the heck wants to be a teenager in these times, not me:musical:

I'm 55 and play electric guitar. Used to play very loud, been to many extremely loud concerts, used to run commercial lawnmowers( w/ ear protection) and yes I can hear it. It didn't bother me though. YAY!

I dont think it's a hoax as I did it without telling Allan (only 25 ,Aaaw memories ! ) and he was shouting at me to turn it off drove him crazy .I sadly did'nt hear it but got a pain in my ears for my trouble .So does that mean I'm old or not ?lolAnyway got to go Guys as (sorry if I upset anyone but ) we have a national holiday tomorrow Yoo Hoooo!!
Good old St Patrick and he got rid of all the snakes too nice 1.

I heard it! It sounds like a combination between a mosquito and ringing in the ears. I'm 38, with allergy ravaged ears.

Hey Aileen, do you have quicktime? You need that in order for the player to play.
 
Yeah I have that and everything else....it's weird. Gonna go fool around with my stuff and see if something is off.

For some reason the none of my app were associated to play any mp3 files...turned them on to accept mp3 and .....

Heard it, did not drive me mad at the time as only heard it faint. I am 33 but then i have always had slight problems with hearing anyway.

I might put it on for the kids when they start fighting lol

Well, seems most of us can hear it. Not me. I feel really ancient now. I'm sure driving a noisy bus with up to 40 kids jabbering away behind me is NOT helping my hearing! lol

Is it wrong that my TV sounds like this sometimes (yes, it's pre-plasma circa 1992)?

That was funny... gathered the staff around, turned it on and man you should have seen the young'ns scatter... us old folks just sat there...

Everyone on staff under 25 heard it...no one over did...
 
Boss at least theres some advantages to getting older .
I read that some people were using recordings of the sound to stop youngsters loitering on the streets .Kinda cruel I thought cos it really hurts their heads.
