Hi and thanks for answering the questions on the intro page. Is there a reason you were so emphatic in your answer about Floral Education?

I really don't see answers to the questions that forms in my mind that you feel comfortable in actually being a member here.
"time will tell" "when I know, I'll let you know" ??

Ok - I just did something that is so rare....it is my first time doing it.....I actually gave a red dot as a no vote on membership.

LIke most of you, I would like a little more information as well as some of the answers being ambiguous as well.
 
I know these guys, well at least the owner. Never sure what they did. Definitely flowers. Pretty good volume as there is lots of activity. I have always thought the supply street kiosks, and they do some arrangements. The owner is a riot, kind of gruff as well as the crew there. They are old school, but seem to be nice. No threat to the community, they might even have a twist to things that might prove interesting. They are located several doors down from me.

considering the cryptic and "curt" intro answers....
They may need to come back and do some 'splaining Lucy!

Well, that's what I was wondering too, Thom.
 
I think it's a question of perception. The capital NO is likely the issue and of course the lack of response to questions.

Thom you introduced them very well and I thank you, however, personally, I would like the applicant to participate more fully in their request to join the community.

I can't take back my vote and I'm okay with that.

I haven't voted yet on this one. I was curious to wait and see him come back and see what he had to say. Probably won't happen if it is who I think it is.
 
I haven't voted yet either, giving them a chance to return to see what their introduction has wrought...but I don't expect gushing..but I do think when you introduce yourself you don't give replies to the intro questions that they have. Seems a little "stand offish"? Especially the what you can offer to FlowerChat and what do you hope to find at FlowerChat. Those are two very informative answers if the answers are actually "sincere" not (I'll tell you what I think if I think it's worthwhile or if I think I can offer anything to you that I think you don't know...get the drift?)

When asked what he hopes to gain, he replies "only time will tell". Pretty frank, but absolutely spot on. How does he have any idea? I had no idea when I joined.

When asked what he hoped to contribute, he replies "when I know, I will let you know". Sounds like the best answer I have heard yet. Instead of blabbing at every opportunity, he might be one who pops in when prompted, cause he might have and answer for all. Sounds good to me, I know I got a spanking for it.

I'm sorry, I don't see anything vial in his introduction. All I am saying is that everyone has a story to tell, let him tell it.
