hasn't been over +15 here for four days. 14 below last night, single digits today, blizzard in progress here for 20+" of snow and high winds.

7 degrees in Mi. winds 40 mile per hour!! have not been out at all..100 car pile up just down the road!! Just baking and napping~ stay warm all~Tracy

-1 and the wind chill has to be -859534! GAH it's cold. We had a spinout on the way home from a birthday party today. Lucky for us it was a country road and no other cars were around.
I officially hate winter.

Lows in the teens here, highs below freezing for days and days now. Snow on top of snow on top of ice. They say we may melt a little on Wed., but if not Wed., then Sat. We may not have guests for Chrstimas dinner, after all. :~(

Button up kiddies... that's why they invented "Union Suits"... they do keep one warm!

I enjoyed the day outside.......those times I was....crisp, clean and fresh....

Sorry, I hate to rub it in.
It's a chilly 43 degrees here in Austin. We may even get a light freeze.
Just dug out a sweat shirt.
Think of it this way, in August you all can tell me you've turned off you air conditioners. Mine pretty much runs year around down here.

45 here at 8:45 PM. Anything below 50 and Houstonians are freezing!!!

I can't tell you how many orders we get for up North this time of year when the sender says "Leave on porch if not home..." NOT. We get those orders in July & August ~

No offense, but...

You actually think that's cold???

The Canadian Prairie provinces are currently enduring wind chill values of between -40 and -50 degrees!!!

Most of us can't even contemplate what those temperatures feel like...

And I'm not going to find out either! Can't imagine.......

Yes it's cold, yes it's blowing and yes we're under yet another snowfall warning, but it's not Winnipeg, and none of us are living in a box. And with each passing day, we're that much closer to spring and the tundra swans flying back to the Grand Bend area.

The days are now beginning to get longer and it will eventually get warmer and warmer and hotter and different complaints will ensue. :)

And ya'll gonna hate me for saying this, BUT, after a week of low to mid 70's, we have a right, nice, chilly forecast for the next few days.....and then we are set to go into another warm spell.

Anybody wanna come to the south and warm up ???? ( I was in shorts and t-shirt last week putting up some outdoor Christmas Decorations )

:) Thanks Rick but in truth, I like living here and I really do enjoy the seasons.

Oh, we have our seasons is South Carolina, just not cold to extremes. Our high (we're about 200 miles north of RWK) will be in the mid 30s today.

My family is heading to Asheville, NC, today where the high is expected to be around 27 with strong winds and the chill factor making it feel as if the temp is in the teens. This is a real concern for us since Hubby has breathing problems, and we had a pnuemonia scare last week with him.
