Well, after nearly two years, an auto accident, massive house renovations, settlements, and everything in between......GOOD NEWS !!!!!!

I BEGIN a new job this coming Monday !!

It is at a firm called Carolina Pottery. It is a home decor, housewares, patio furniture, accent store with a large permanent botanical floral dept.

So, everyone on FlowerChat who considers themselves my friend.....as I consider most everyone mine.....join me in CELEBRATION !!!!!!

Since a couple of you have asked about the store location. It is the Columbia Branch of Carolina Pottery located on Augusta road in West Columbia, SC

You won't find many crafters supplies there......like you might find at a Hobby Lobby or a Michael's. You will find mostly housewares, kitchen equipment, glassware galore, accent furniture, containers and vases by the loads, outdoor furniture, indoor and outdoor holiday theme decoration, and a huge permanent botanical department.

I will have some learning of my own to do, particularly in the pricing structures and how they utilize pricing for labor and creativity.

The last time I was at a Carolina Pottery in NC, we got a free knife for watching an demonstration - brought back old memories of the demos on the Boardwalk here. That knife cut tin cans AND tomatoes!
