First 2 mths wire business

And drop-ship is making greater and greater inroads - due to price - so there's less volume in the pipeline.

And we're still not doing any of that. As you all know (but I have to toot our horn a little here), every order that comes in, both from our web-presence, from the more traditional florist-to-florist and any other method we increase sales volume goes to a member shop to fill.

Another point - we don't want to be just a source of orders. We want to be the service providers that support all of your needs, from product, POS systems, ecommerce websites, after-hours phone call answering and so on. All those things that may look like a cost but help you run your business effectively and efficiently.

I would love to see TF let smaller mom and pop shops send and receive orders without having to be locked into TF technology such as Dove & POS.

If TF would let me send all my wireouts through Floristware POS, I would re-join in a heartbeat!

I hope this something they will consider down the road...

Nichole Teleflora is no Saint in this business they/you do support order gathers including allowing Pro flowers to provide same day delivery thru one such gatherer and you do hit the florist with reciprocity charges when you know darn well that with order gatherers filling your pipe line the vast majority of florist can not send enough thus you make money off our backs. And th e list goes on and on.

any other method we increase sales volume goes to a member shop to fill.
But the problem with sending filler fools gathered orders is that they do not have the offsetting out going business. The continuing allowance of letting non-florists broker orders is the single largest financial drain on the industry.

TF does want to be all things to all florists, no argument there. Very 1984 Big Brother like aspirations if you ask me. Put the wholesalers out of business with Stems & Bunches, lock florists in with POS contracts, charge way too much to answer a phone after hours, manage cookie cutter e-commerce sites, etc.
I get better prices from my local suppliers, POS from FW,Indie web site, voice mail, and none of the BS that comes with membership in a wire service. Priceless!
