Are y'all for real? Drive 6 hours there and 6 hours back in one day? I was definitely thinking to make a weekend of it. I'll even find "jammies" to wear if I have to!

Mid week doesn't work for me, but I can be flexible! I have references! Never mind! My mind is in the gutter.

Meeting somewhere in the middle works, too. Blah! No greasy spoon, please! I'm not a real good planner, so I'll leave the planning to you guys. I'm just @@@@ good at showing up for parties!

Trac-I tried to PM ya...but I keep having to sign back in. I am having lots of trouble staying online here at FC...not sure what the problem is. I sent ya two PM's and both times it said I wasn't logged in! UGH! Consider this your PM!
 
well we can aim for a weekend, and have the get together on sunday?
let's figure it out over the next few days - we have weddings every weekend till mid-september, but I'll take a look @ them to see if I can skip on one if they're light. A couple are booked beyond good sense (well, maybe someone else's good sense), but I can only remember one ATM. Have to check the schedule @ work.

More plans to come later.

Will get back to you guys. Ivy & I are both excited....and we NEED a road trip! :) It's been a really wicked summer.

ps...I forgot to apologize, I did not mean to horn in on your plans for a Philly get to gether. Just sitting here a little jealous of all the fun you guys have.

Wow so much happened last night. Busy busy planners - lol!!

Sept is tough for me just b/c I have something every weekend; a company picnic, block party, vegas trip and a Baltimore inner harbor trip planned. So I will let you all do the planning and if I can make it I would love to join in on the fun, but a Sat/Sun in Sept is not likely.

If anyone still wants to do a Phila FNO in August, I would still be up for that in addition to this. So post away...

If a philly get together is scheduled, let me know. My bro lives on the outskirts of philly and I have never visited him, would love to, and how cool would it be if at the same time I could meet some of the FC crew? I'm not positive I would be able to make it, very very long drive, but it is a possiblility.

OH MAN... I got SO excited when I started reading this...I will be in Philly next week (Wednesday) and then in Di's neighborhood on Thursday and off near Tracey for the weekend and beginning of the next week (Atlantic City/Tuckerton area). Here I thought the stars were aligning just perfectly so I could come to a FNO. BUT NO...now you are all talking about a road trip to the west end of the state.

You may just have to settle for me popping into your respective shops in my beach attire :eek: :faint: :help:

Di, if I have room in the car, I'll bring you the card rack I promised you all those months ago.

Yes Yes Yes to Sunday August 9th in/around AC!

No reason to hold off doing anything else together till plans come together for a Road Trip FNO.

Let's get planning FNOVI for Amy's stay in NJ and have a fun time! We can still do Pgh later.

Becky - any other good places for eats & drinks in your area?
Maybe we could plan to come by your shop & tour on the way?

Would love to have you visit! LOL about the card rack! Whatever! Call me if you have time to drop by the shop for a visit and we can make plans for lunch if nothing else!
 
Why is Atlantic City the hot spot? I can't make it next weekend. I will be filming at my shop with CNBC "On The Money"...it's official-they are going to do a story on my shop's history and present financial situtation. I just received "THE" call from the show's producer last night...not sure about the time, but it will take two hours to film and next Sunday is the agreed upon date. Once I have firm details, I will post a thread, because I will be looking for input from other shops as to specifics to discuss in the interview about flower shops struggling to survive.

Would love to meet y'all for dinner...would you consider Medford area? Amy-will you still be around next weekend?

Can't make the 9th

Oh pooh, I'll be in NYC on the 9th. Promised my daughter I would take her to the American Girl Doll Store for an early birthday celebration. We have reservations at the AGD cafe and broadway show tickets for Shrek the Musical (this is what my life has been reduced to!!!). Wish I could come. I was hoping to meet Becky. Hope you all have a great time as I'm sure you will!!!

Will keep ya in the loop about CNBC...I am excited about it. They have been very nice to work with. I can't even believe that they are going to air my story! Bigger than flip, heh?
