Following the other thread about winter greens left over from Christmas, i am interested to see the differences in everyday foliages between UK and US ?
It appears that across the pond, you use alot of pines and Cedars, which are only available to buy at Christmas here??
Thought i'd put a list of my everday foliages on , for you to compare.............

Leatherleaf
Aspidestra leaves
Palms
Tree Fern
Ming Fern
Pittosporum
Hard Ruscus
Soft Ruscus
Bear grass
China Grass
Flexigrass
Eucalyptus Parvi, Baby blue, berried
Myrtle
Cocculus

We have a lot of those available here as well, though my particular customers don't seem to appreciate the variety as much as I would like.

There are cedars available all year, and some of the Australian pines as well, but we use them mostly for winter.

Some others commonly used:
Honey Bracelet
Plumosa
Springerei
Galax Leaves
Princess Pine
Equisetum
Ti leaves
Salal

We get other stuff too, but that what I have in the cooler right now, except for the euro palm and leather, I ran out of that...

The girls don't like tree fern, but I do

just to add to your long list, i also use hosta leaves spring til fall....i especially like the limegreen color with hot pink roses, but i use any i can get my hands on. variegated is also especially beautiful as a collar in loose bouquets or arrangements.

AH! I forgot I have bayleaf, magnolia, lichen branches in the cooler now too!

Amy hate date palm, says it remids her of having to pull them out of her pool in Phoenix.

We grow dusty Miller in the yard to use and hosta leaves.

but sometimes I get in that big giant huge dusty miller. I don't care much for lambs ear though...I likeit by it's self but not in an arrangement.

We only use the Cedars and Pines during the Christmas season.

Here's my list, some are the same as already listed but I just copied from my order sheet. I LOVE unique foliage. I can't stop ordering the stuff. I usually have between 8 - 10 different varieties in stock at any given time.

I love foliage... sometimes I think I prefer it to a lot of florals. ;)

A friend of mine did a casket spray. It was absolutely stunning... not a flower to be seen.

I bet that is stunning, i love wedding bouquets like this too.

I love traling ivy and anything rustic looking, thats so my favourite style.

Nandina is one of my favorites, and we use it all year. We especially like to use it at Valentine's when the foliage is red.

We also use forsithia, but that's probably the wrong spelling.

We use all sorts of frontyardia and backyardia.

I had to stop using so much roadsidia when I had the delivery van lettered. That traveling billboard is also my personal vehicle.

wow!

I have foliage envy!!!! I love to use different foliages and we grow a lot of different varr in the summer. But now it's winter :(

My big problem is our local vendors don't even carry half of what you'll listed. I've resorted to buying foliage plants and cutting them.

and yes, I've begged for mixed boxes = deaf ears. :(
