FTD and credit cards

for what it's worth, most of the countries that I travel to outside of the United States, charge a surcharge for credit card use. Especially the hotels and car rental places. I have run into this in many of the Caribbean countries as well as Central America. It's not like they are different bank card companies. It's still my Visa and Amex card.

As to the Surcharges...we do charge one to any customer that calls to pay their house account, **IF** we have sent them a ststement previously..never had a complaint yet...

Hey great idea! That makes me so mad when they do that. Why didn't they just do that to begin with? [rhetorical] I always wanted to do SOMETHING when they do that, just could not think of anything. Thanks for the idea!
