I heard yesterday from one of my hardgood salesmen that ftd is up for sale again don't know who true he just said he had heard that.

Doesn't sound likely. They may wish they could sell it but selling right after you buy would be a recipe for disaster--especially given how long it took to sell it last time.

hmmm.... United Online paid approx. $800 million for FTD. Divide that up between the real florist members in the US, UK and Canada (est. approx. 20,000) and if each would just pony up $400K they could get it done. Might take a while to earn back the investment, though....

It's still unbelievable that the company sold for just $125M only 15 years ago.
