Ok, $20 bucko's in US or Can? if I loose I'll send ya $20 Us but if you loose with it be $20 in Can or will you do the exchange rate? LOL!
I need to know before I enter into this challange.

What exactly is the bet - I want to know the wording before I commit myself.

Audra, I believe it is when Tf is going to change the .CON to competing with members in regards to offering Drop Plop items without the members being included?

I dunno ...and I don't really care but if I can pick up a $20 it means extra :bloomz: LOL!
 
Blue's right - Will TF.com switch to be like FTD.com and compete against members for customers. I have a Nov 04 bet with Boss ... and Bloomz, is it?
I think Blue is in for Dec 1st, and Evergreen is Feb 05.

They can't stand on principle forever. I'd do it too if I wuz them. Screw a bunch of feel good florists trying to make a living, it costs to run that empire.

I can see that becoming a temptation if TF wasn't profitable ... but they are, far as I know.

Usually dropping principle in favour of profit is a desperation measure. Morally responsible AND profitable = less incentive to act in an immoral fashion. Often, a shift of morals can result in reduced profitability.

I'm hazarding a guess that the BOSS-man is in the black. Less reason to go "OG," right? On the other hand ... if your profits were negligible and lawsuits were costing you as much or more than your profit margin - maybe then you'd be desperate enough to try anything for a quick buck?

I'm thinking Nove as a "trail".Anytime later than that puts them too far out in a marketing strategy.....after our day today I am impressed I can spell that!
What are the terms of the bet?
 
I still think it will be before Valentine's Day. I am in for $20 USD. Ryan, I can't think of a worse reason for them not beoming like FTD than the one (s) you gave. Come on, man....companies have no morals as people do, they are legal entities and are required to make a profit for their investors one way or another. Don't think of them as one of us. They are not in any way.

I agree with Ryan. I truly believe this will not happen to Teleflora as much as I believe it was'nt going to happen to FTD neither.
I htink we believe what we are told by the powers at be. I can always say, we will see what will happen. I can hosnestly say that I believe more people than others.
ALso When I see it, then I will believe it.
