I'm confused

Does FTD ok this kind of promotion? To have their name on a website that has a catergorie for f^&*ing just destroys their image in my mind. I am so not against gay people I am however disgusted with a website that promotes links to that kind of crap. It really ruins the greatness that goes with flowers and if they promoted it shame on them. People coming out should be a private thing and not a reason to make it a flower buying day. Everyday should be a flower buying day. Seems like FTD is grasping for something, anything. Kinda sad to see a brand that was so good for flowers back in the day to be so desperate.

Disclaimer...NO FTD logos on my building, Vans, Stationary nothing...distancing myslef further everyday!

At first. I wasn't sure, I was sure, that what I thought it was, was.

I don't understand the pandering to a Market segment consisting of statistically scattered anomolies.

Subliminal marketing. Think someone is gay or lesbian. Sent the "out a Gay Bouq." today. Send them to School, the Office, to their parents Home. Not sure of someones Gender preference? Satisfy your instincts and sent the "out a gay Bouq" and what fireworks go off.

It would be much more honest to target the habitual Sports fan with a "Be a Sport Bouq." Shame them into sending the little honey something for putting up with them. So you include an exclusive Mylar Balloon that shows "Honey" in the kitchen, with a "I'll be home for dinner" heading.

I hear the market for this is HUGE in the Middle East! Not the "be a Sport Bouq" that is.
