My staff gave the new guide HIGH marks... guess I'll have to investigate further...

They really liked the new format, binder and photography.

Have not loaded up the CD yet, will get to that next week, but if it's anything like the last one, it does make the pricing job easy. My staff already did it by hand, while I was out of town, guess I won;t mention to them how the CD works :|

iF YOU LOAD THE CD...

you will be surprised at how easier it is.. In the past customers would call up with the name of the item not the number and we would have to go looking for the cross index to find what they were talking about.
Now we just key in part of the name (like flou =for flourishing garden basket c11-3035) and up it pops with our prices, picture and recipe so we can easily tell if items are out of season and what an appropriate subst. would be.
If I had the designed the pricing part I would have done it differently but we made it work for us..

I quess I'll have to work with the pricing aspect because all my arrangements are over $1000.00. Looks good but probably wont fly.

I seemed to miss the instructions. I do have a well established habit of doing this. Where are they?

That's my point.....there were none, and I think we entered the exchange rate in the wrong format. It asked us to fill in todays exchange and gave us a space something like this "0000.00" I assumed they wanted 35.00% so filled it out like this 0035.00 but think I should have put it in as 0001.35.......
Dumb thing is I haven't been able to find out how to change it, maybe we will have to do a reinstall???:hammer:

At least I now have a reason to reject orders *****under value***** cause I don't think asking for a price change is going to cut it!!!! (at least not the price my computer says I should charge)

I'm pretty sure the only way to change this on the last CD was to reinstall.

Have fun!!

Well, that would have been the correct assumption if the field was formatted as NNNN.nn.
But if 1.35 is what was supposed to be entered, then the field format should have been more like NN.nnnn or N.nn, but not NNNN.nn since there would be no occasion to ever use 4 integers. What happens if the exchange rate goes to 35 1/2?
There was nothing on the screen to guide you?
You can't beleive how many times users call with questions when the answer is right in front of them...
