.
What?
He's not coming down for breakfast anymore?

He will be missed.

He's packed his stuff and moved on. :(

Yes, he was a master and had such an impact on multiple generations.

25-30 years later, 3 of those infamous "7 little words you can't say on television" still can't be said...

George was/IS the most on topic, ponderous person I ever saw.

God's got His hands full now ;)

I will always remember "stuff". He could talk about his stuff, your stuff, their stuff, it was all just stuff. But he made it what it was...HILARIOUS!

His sense of humor was never PC and he didn't care, neither did his audience. We've lost a real comedic genius.

...to a place to hold MORE stuff!

Wow, I used to laugh myself silly. I saw him 'in the round' about 20 years ago, at the Valley Forge Music Fair. One of the greats...

Seven Words

And just think those "7" Words are banned here also. Hey guys how about for one day "TODAY" in George's Honor you allow those words...

We know that won't be allowed so hear you go..http://www.georgecarlin.com/dirty/dirty.html

Seen him live twice. Last time was this last January (made a great Xmas gift for my parents and husband). One of the Great Minds of a generation is gone, but his voice in recordings & tapings will live on...RIP George!

George is probably sorting through all of his lost "stuff" now....

He has been dierected to his pile and is making up his new routine...

I have always love gerge Carlin and he was one of my Dad's favorites, so wasn't Tim Russert...I hope they can have a big sit down and chat it up about politics and funny @@@@...

Alana loves George Carlin. In fact she quotes him frequently. I messaged her this morning on Facebook to advise her of his demise... in true Alana fashion she changed her profile statement to read, in true Carlin style, "R.I.P. George Carlin. Thank you for teaching me to be a dick about everything".

She's not a "dick", but she knows how to cut through the garbage far better than her mom. ;)

Another Carlinism... "When a really stupid person becomes senile, how do you know?"

I loved the man.

Have you ever heard George's rave on God?

I'm not religious but I was almost expecting a lightning bolt on me for just listening to it.

It's incredibly blasphemous.

Know that saying that you're better to live like there's a God and find out there isn't, than live like there isn't and find out there is?

I don't think I'd want to be in his shoes today, cuz he may just be finding out something he'd rather not have.

Or maybe not.

I'm glad I saw him last September, tho he wasn't as good as he used to be - he had to keep referring to his notes, and wasn't as disgustingly gross as I was hoping for.

I think he was just getting tired.

RIP George.

What an icon.
