I've made him flowers once a year for the last 15 years or so.
A local PBS station brings him into Denver once a year or so. I am their florist.
He always thanked them for their gift of flowers in his dressing room.
I have briefly met him a couple of times - delivering flowers. He was really a very nice man. A little vulgar, but kind in real life.

It's hard to imagine the world without him.

We'll never really be without George Carlin Beth... he has left an indelible mark.

In the fall, he will be receiving the Mark Twain humour award. If wishes were horses, I'd wish he was still here so we could enjoy his acceptance. ;)

Know that saying that you're better to live like there's a God and find out there isn't, than live like there isn't and find out there is?
Yep...know it very well....something to keep in mind daily!

I was very sad to hear about Carlin, he had a truly special way of looking at things. I particularly loved his way of looking at political correctness. He had a very unique way of looking at language and we sadly will not see his like again. I'll miss him, thank God for youtube.
