When we do gerbera attendants bouquets we use (about the only time we use these) the bridal oasis bouquet holders, insert the gerbs, allows all the heads to "face" correctly, then take the discarded stems and tape them to the bouquet holder to achieve the stemmed look.

I use the Stemson's product for gerberas.
I don't remember the name of the wire curly q's

Stemson's website isn't available right now, so, I can't get the name.

Anyway, they are great. A nice green color. The wire slips into the head of the gerb and you pull down the curled wired tail.
Looks great for the fun whimsey look a gerbera bouquet creates.

You can get them in a large bag from your wholesaler.
Looks much nicer than wire and taping.
 
The Stemsons's curly green wires really are a fun product and so fast to use if you need to wire them.
