Poor kitty....reminds me of my boys Blue...:)

I sprayed a textured ceiling in a room yesterday. The whole thing was sealed off with poly-film. Sure enough one of the cats was on the outside looking in sort of like the kitty above. Turns out he was trying to get to the kitty litter and couldn't. He ended up going on the bath mat in my bath room. I hope that was not a critique of my efforts.

Smart kitty Doug...he used the proper room in the house. ;) I doubt it was a critique of your work...however, it was a retribution thing for denying access to that most important box. My boys have that "pay back" thing down, in spades...(or neutered)

It is quite ironic because the ceiling got damaged because my wife would leave the water running in the bidet in her bathroom
(just a trickle) so the cats could have fresh water (go figure).

She had flooded the bathroom before when she was running water in her sink and then went and answered the phone and then forgot about the sink.

I did not like the bidet idea so I shut the water off at the shut off for the bidet. Michelle turned it back on some how water leaked from the shut off over a week long period. The ceiling was ruined. I only noticed the water coming from her bathroom (through the ceiling) after I dropped a beer bottle on my toe (broke my toe) and I hopped around the room having water drop on my head.

It's all fixed now. Just waiting to paint.

Dropped a beer bottle ??? 3 lashes to you....

Tis against the rules to drop a beer bottle don't ya know :)

In my own defense it was empty.

It is a good thing I did drop it because if I hadn't hopped around
the room after scoring a direct hit on "this little piggy had none" toe I would not have had the water drip on to my head casuing me to discover the leak. If it had have gone un-noticed it could have casued a real mess. Instead of just a mess.

Sort of like this bottle is half full as opposed to half empty. In this case I am glad it was empty. So was my toe

George likes to flush the toilet so he can watch the water go round and round...I now shut the lid...ends his entertainment but oh well. Elmo likes to lick up any and all drips in the the tub or sink. Never mind that I give them fresh water each day...as they are both strays, I have no idea of their wacky family history. ;)

I'm sorry about your toe, your ceiling, your bidet, but oh my I enjoyed the pictures all of the above put in my head. :)

Funyny you should mention it , but my 19 year old cat has all of a sudden taken to drinking out of the toilet, dog's bowl and the tub, we've been wondering if he's getting senile or just strange. The funny thing is he will not drink out his own bowl anymore??? Can't figure out why not.

Woodstock (my Sheltie) is 9 1/2 now and last time we bought his dog food we got the Science Diet for seniors instead of just the usual Science Diet for adults. Both were mini-bites which he prefers. He won't eat the stuff. He tried about 1/3 of a bowl and said, "That stuff is for old people not me, it sucks". So we gave him another day and sure enough he won't eat it. Went and got the usual stuff and he's fine. Some dogs are just so sensitive about they're age.:boomsmili Don't shoot the cook!

Sunny, your buddy is a senior citizen...a senator actually. ;) He can drink out of any thing he chooses I should think.

I have a young cat, her name is Pixel. We got her from the pound as an kitten. She had a minor deformity on the leg, so some *@$@! tossed her out when she should have still been with Mama. They figure she was on her own for a week before they caught her.

She's two now and nothing I can do will convince her to drink water out of a bowl - gotta be fresh. I had a Russian Blue that was the same way. Cats are unique.

I had a friend who had one that would only drink running water , she had to leave the tap on when she went out and the cat would get up on the counter and stick its head under the tap.

Which prooves yet again...who runs who...Elmo and George kindly allow me to stay in their space...as long as I feed and clean and water them. :)

Mikey , got a Black Lab mix , who is totally scared ****less of any cat who snarls or raises a paw. This dog once went after the father of my grandchildren when he thought he was hurting one of the kids , he will growl at me when I kick off the bed , but let a cat snarl and all you will see is his tail from under the table.

Dogs, cats, iguanas...whatever...as long as they have at least one leg I love them. :)
