I had a funny feeling that by posting a "Go Leafs Go" yesterday it would put a jinx on them, so I didn't.

Now however I am quite confident in saying "Go Leafs Go.

I live right across the windsor border and we have no problem watching every Canadian game thanks to channel 9 CBC.

Being a Detroiter all my life I have always had a liken to those Leafs.

Why do you (the Leafs) insist on digging your self into a deep dark pit that you have to crawl out of before ascending the mountain of victory?

That pit is the sandtrap at the local course, how in God's name did I get caught up in the hype and pick all those Leafs in my pool , I actually thought they ahd a chance to win it all , they are like Jeykl and Hyde you just never know who will show up on any given night.
 
"Go Leafs Go" has changed to "Gone Leafs Gone"

The popular wisdom is they are too old and too slow to be in the game.

Geez Doug, looks like you got your wish! You wished for the Leafs to Go and they're Gone (talk about an arse whupping of unholy proportions)!
Brian maybe the Leafs will come down and play a round or two with Danny Moo! Anyway, I told you NEVER pick the LAFFS in a hockey pool!!!! Shame on you, a HABS fan picking the Laffs; you gotta have faith man! You know that sooner or later the HABS will come through; more cups than the LAFFS and Wings combined; the top two greatest (probably 3 or 4th too) teams in history (yes Ryan, late 70's and late 50's).
(Cannot recall whether Tubthumping was an English band or a song but if nothing else it certainly SOUNDS appropriate!)

Tubthumping is the name of the song and Chumbawamba was the name of the band. Now back to your regular seasonal insanity.
