beats the one I did a few years ago. Hand tied with 95 roses (all lavender) smelled real good!

That is HUGE!! I have a bride later this fall that wants a BIG bouquet too. We'll see how it compares to your BIG bouquet.

Can I ask a question though, you said she provided most of the roses, why is that? Why didn't you order the roses from your supplier and sell them to her? Just curious.
She has a family friend that is a rose grower down in Las Cruces.

She asked right up front if she could bring the majority of her own flowers from the farm and then have us charge her for labor and whatnot. I thought about it and thought, why not? it's not like she bought them at the grocery store. And we need all the sales we can get! I charged her a pretty penny for labor. I charged her in labor what most brides spend for their whole wedding. So we made out ok.
It did take quite a while to clean all those roses.
I forgot how thorny that particular growers roses are. I haven't touched them in about 15 years. Had I remembered that, I would have charged a little more. but really- all in all, we did ok.

I'm really surprised no one had asked me how I got them all in ONE holder.
I think that's the most amazing part!!

I used a Big new Gala holder. Those things are money! Probably the best new product I've seen in a long time. and I tinted the handle burgundy. The handle felt very comfortable. I think I'll write a letter to the company and send a pic.

I just want to know what the REST of the wedding was like. If the flowers were that extreme, can you imagine the food? This sounds like something for a bridal magazine!

Thanks. I just more curious than anything else. I would of done the same in your case. We don't normally design flowers we don't bring in ourselves. But there are always exceptions to every rule.

I used sports balls as a size reference for brides - mush ball, volley, soccer and basketball. I once did a medicine ball but this would be what a giant beach ball? loved that the roses where open... very pretty! congrats on a great wedding

hi there...enjoy your talk...:)
Amazing to see what you`re doing there.
But curious about the bride ...really...

everythinglol.....no, just kidding... IT`s just interesting to know, who wanted such a big thing and how the bride looks like in her wedding dress with the bouquet and if it fits together...I like what you did, becaue it isn`t ...we say here o-8-15 ...You made something very special, and I think you`ve had minimum one sleepless night.....
