Philly, well written, how was that beer?
My firend, Sara, is an extreame Mac person, since age 1. She has like 5 Macs runing in her house and is a MAc admin at the largest online music companies in the world and she use to be the head admin for MACs at Southern ORegon University. She is a loyalist, but also a realist. My point is, Mac took a step to the right, not the other way around. Maybe they didn't lose the war, but they lost a battle. If it wern't for the Ipod, they'd still be losing money as a company.
When Sun miro System works out all the bugs and most software is starting to be built for Linux, I'm ditching windoze. So why not ditch ditch windoze now for OS X? I have a lot invested in time and $ in my machines, if I am going to make a full blown switch, I'll wait for Sun.
On a different note, Steve is now on the board of directors at Disney and holds the single largest amount of shares at Disney. Isn't Uncle Bill the leading shareholder at Apple? IF not, I know he owns a lot.
Now let's go get a beer and laugh it up!
