With apologies to anyone East of London, all our leaves are leaving here and heading your way...either by bag, hitchhiking or flying...yes indeed, they are Gone With the Wind, making haste in Winnie the Poop's Blustery Fricking Day...

First delivery this morning...BALLOONS! So, if you see some of those flying your way...wave...they could be attached to a delivery person, bag of leaves, a blue box, or a bird...

BRRRRRrrrrrr...and Doug...had Cream of Wheat this morning. ;)

And because I'm not blonde anymore, and I don't smoke anything at all I didn't park under the tree.

:bloomz:

Our Leaves are headed your way too!

V, when I woke up this morning the entire yard of leaves were heading across the US/Can border.....after they were checked by customs for bugs and given the go ahead they should arrive by the late afternoon!. Happy raking!;)

Hey Sweetie...I don't have to rake...yours are just passing through, joining a gang of Canadian leaves and heading East...ready to conquer whatever lies ahead. ;) I do believe they waved and said "hey" from Blue. (they just picked up the red and white)

Leaves, what leaves? They blew eastward to visit Sudbury - what little we have we can't see for the ice and snow.

It's a flippin' skating rink out there - great. Just what I need when I need to make a quick weekend trip to Guelph. *grumbles*

Yes Van Isle is very very nice. I do remember when my folks moved from here to Tsawwassen. My Dad left his snow shovel behind. When I flew out during school break at Christmas, we got snowed in! A fluke I know, but never the less, the entire city of Vancouver was shut down. They didn't have the equipment to handle the pelting they got...neither did my Dad. ;) He built a shovel out of plywood and 2 x 4's. Necessity really is the mother of invention. That was the year we went to California for Christmas...snowed in Palm Springs. I have a picture of me standing under a snow laden date palm.

I probably shouldn't move to Costa Rica...it'll likely snow.

You could always try someplace like Nevada - most of it is too dry to get snow. ;)

My hubby has this thing for old fashioned oatmeal - cereals tend to look far to much like gruel for my tastes. Mamere use to spoon Cream'o'wheat into me when I was a wee lass and I ate enough of it then to last me until Domesday.

I'm not really a modern breakfast kind of girl.

Stratford and London are better for it too. ;)

Doug you prove yet again, what a great citizen you are. ;)

Audra, that was my experience with RRC as a kid. Every morning, a bowl of paste....*shiver*

Peter, where do you live? My friends at Ipperwash were without power for about 18 hours yesterday as well.

Things are better today...just cold.

Breakfast? Isn't that something you have to buy at Tim's?:)

Nooooooo.....not for me anyway. A sacrilege I'm sure, but me no care for Timmy's.

I get tea there during a break in my class at school..that's about it.
