California Celebrates CHR's Birthday
There was a GRAND gathering of about 70 close friends and extended floral family for Cathy's birthday at the Citris Cafe in Orange California. A total surprise to her as she entered the restaurant and all sang SURPRISE and Happy Birthday...she was at a loss for words--believe it or not!
Among the distinguished floral family there was Rocky Pollitz, Jim Hynd, Song and Abbie Yun, Rene Van Rems, Judi Eschbach, Mary and Gordon Reimer, Darrell Popper, Cory Lonsert, Jill and Percy Browne, Scott Acevedo and Richard Seekins. The table centerpieces were beautifully designed by the talented Marissa and were a composite of wonderfull colors, textures and flower varieties. Thanks to Phil and the shop gang to pull off a wonderful surprise for a great gal. Will see if we can obtain some of the candid shots of the evening and get them posted for you all to enjoy.

Before your day is quite over...I want to be sure to wish you a very very Happy birthday to a wonderful gal who is only a couple months older than me. (I will be that 5 oh the end of this year). We just get wiser with age-don't we?!!! At least you seem to!
