TOTO too was a LCpl back in 1967 after going through Parris Island in September of 1966.
What's funny is that, I had an aviation guarantee at the time I enlisted with my recruiter and was supposed to go to Cherry Point and Helicopters.
They lost that paperwork and since I didn't have a copy, my MOS became 0311 Rifleman Grunt Ground Pounder and wound up with the 2nd MAR DIV at Camp Lejeune.
