sorry I'm new

jeez, I feel dumb. This post showed up on my screen as a recent post (i guess because I haven't read it), so I responded. I'll try to check the dates on these things before drudging them up again.
Still trying to figure out this forum, hopefully I get it soon.
Cheers,
Alison

Cathy...since You were at one time on the Design team for TF, Did that make getting out for you all easier, harder, or did it make any difference?

I will say that leaving TF was seamless and easy for us. No hassles of any kind.

Same here, went smooth as can be.

Be sure to follow the rules to the T on getting out and send everything out Express Mail or Certified Mail - Return Receipt Requested.

Sorry, but how time flies!

It doesn't seem THAT long ago that Dove was $19.95 a month and not much earlier than that, monthly dues were $19.95 a month. Boy, how things have changed, huh?

Problem is, florists have spent so much time jumping from one hot frying pan (WS) to another hot frying pan (WS) that they no longer can hide all the scorch marks any more.

If the current economic situation is going to get as bad as some predict and last as long as some are saying, the question should be how can any florist continue to justify the need for any WS? How long can any florist continue to pay out $2,500 to $3,000 and more annually to any outside company without paralyzing their own business? Doesn't anyone think that any florist can better use that money to better support their business locally? And how long will it be before the terminated wire service offers something FREE before the same florists that just left are back in line to jump right back into same old the frying pan?

Yep, how time flies!!!, but somethings never change.

I am pretty confident, and with YOUR help, that we can continue to "educate" florists that wish to survive, in ANY economic climate!!
The "problem" with the wire service "fees" is that they are NOT exponential.....they've risen beyond their worth, and IF they were to come down VERY substantially, there still is room for a tool such as that, BUT, at current levels, they've outgrown their worth based on services provided!!
Some of us have done pretty well with a WS, because we watch EVERY "CPO" which is cost per order, but, when your costs are "C3PO", then you're just a ROBOT!!
