Ive said once ayear...but actually theres been years when i havent seen them at all ? With the changing to eflorist here in the UK i presumed that the visits would be more frequent...but i was wrong. I dont even get notified of district meetings anymore !!! ( i dont think they have them)
The last time i saw him , i had a lot of questions to ask .....he turned up at 3.30 in the afternoon without phoning ahead to make an appointment !! I had 5 minutes before i had to leave for another meeting, so i was NOT happy. He left, saying " i will call again soon " that was ayear ago...havent seen him since !!!

When I was TF a few years back, I actually talked to my rep all the time, sometimes you just need to seek them out. She also took great care of me, I mean, if I had issues, I would get credit for it, and sometimes free membership, etc.

So, in my experience, it wasn't as bad as others, I liked my Tf rep.

But, I still dropped their TF butts anyway! LOL

We had a very nice rep up until a couple of years ago. I asked what happened to her and was told she was a wonderful person and that Teleflora would miss her. I no longer have one as far as I know!

Was your rep Ann Marie (not sure of the spelling). If so, she was great! We'd see her a few times a year. Heard she went to one of the competitors but I don't know if it was FTD or Bloomnet.

Since she left, we haven't seen our rep. Probably will this weekend because he'll be here for the TF show.

Prior to her, we had one guy that wasn't very personable!

Serendipity... Just had our NEW TF rep "drop in." Didn't know we had a new one, 'cause the old one simply forwarded all our questions to TF HQ.

She's bright and appears capable. Knows nothing about flowers, but neither did Sardha and I when we started up some 22+ years ago. One of our "success factors" was that we "didn't know" that "you don't do it that way!" Some of our biggest successes, and a couple of blunders, happened 'cause of that.

One interesting "nugget" was that she said she had been "directed" to pop in unanounced. WE told her that in a business environment, a professional sales rep ALWAYS made an appointment. That way, the client could set aside time to meet AND could identify specific issues that needed attention.

I guess TF feels the need to "ambush" its members.

all the best,

Bill

It's been 8 days of my no show rep....I think I will wait at least another week and see what happens.

Shannon did you go to convention? She should have been there. She usually comes and then visits shops.

Nope, and from the sounds of it, neither did anybody else. I heard there was a bunch of people from Mexico. Only 3 people entered the Zia cup, sounds like it was a pathetic turn out. Dore from House of flowers in Farmington didn't even go, and she always goes!

Why would I want them to stop by:)?
Cuz it's fun to confuse them with the truthful facts....

When they used to show up, I always took them into the office and made sure Florist Detective was on my large PC monitor... I always love debating the ethics of OGing...

I have a Bloomnet "small town" account, not Teleflora, but the rep who signed me up a year ago was all over me with how many times he'd come visit, give me input, help me with problems, yadda, yadda, yadda. Haven't seen him since. I don't eve think he works there anymore.

We have not seen a Teleflora rep in at lease 3 years the prior rep was a guy who could not cut it as a florist and left industry and joined Teleflora and I actually think they promoted him and he was the pits. Its been 2 years since I have seen an FTD rep also
