Why don't you change the delivery confirmation to NOT print? We have your POS system and it is a total waste of paper that these print. Especially when we get a notice in the action items.

Our CC settlement doesn't print unless we ask it to so why don't you do that for these delivery confirmations? I am not looking forward to all the wasted paper in the upcoming MD holiday.

Good thought...if you call 866-444-3683 they do take suggestions on things to update/change for upcoming releases...I have called on many of the new features and enough people all they do make it happen...not sure if posting it here will help...

I think we've logged this suggestion once before, but I'll be happy to note it on up the food chain again! :)

I've sent them emails about this as well..........we're using Daisy and it at least does not print the outgoing dcons but it does the incoming and it's just a big waste of paper, toner, hydro and wear and tear on the printer!! It does attach the info to the order so if you want to send emails to your customers it's no problem. Both FTD and Teleflora are advocating GO GREEN, so why are they both making florists waste paper etc by the truck load????

.

it's NOT their paper.....

Printing ANY paper on outgoing orders is silly.... what do you need the paper for?

Same on Incomings, except for your order copy.

MAS can run completely paperless should you choose to do so... never missed an order yet....

That may be true and would be great if we switched to mas................but unless you are grandfathered in as far as I know FTD and Teleflora will not integrate with mas, so it only applies to a few of the lucky florists that switched to mas several years ago.

I don't think that's accurate any longer - but Hal can clarify for us.

We don't have that problem with Visual Ticket.
Neither do we MAS users.... just have to get the proper interfaces....

Mine works fine, but then again I don't send orders any longer.......not an issue here...

Lori thanks so much for the tip. I prefer the "in writing" version....know what I mean?! LOL

Hey thought this was a TF question?

Its like the mas convention here. I know you guys have a kickas tool.

I was just thinking that if your using Eagle I believe that you can tell it which printer to print incoming and outgoing papers on. You could tell it to print on an imaging printer like adobe or microsoft image writer. Depending upon what is installed on your server.

Somoeone must be receiving and sending a good amount of orders if your complaining about paper and toner.

Dosen't matter if it's 1 order or 1000 it's just plain waste of paper, toner, hyro, wear and tear on the printers and time to log them, then file them or recycle the paper..................................what for?????????? Can someone give me just one reason you would want a printed copy...............

I totally agree! I don't care if it is only 1 sheet of paper, it is still a waste. I have the TF Dove POS so there is no way I know of to stop the printing.

Again can't you just change your printer to an Adobe Printer or Image Printer?

This way you just have a digital copy on your computer.

They print to the default printer, same as FTD and no you can't tell it to print dcon's to one printer and orders to another because both teleflora and ftd's systems can't differentiate between an order and a dcon.

I was going to say that that's "funny".... but really it's sad...
