If you are wire free, what's your wire fee?

I find it interesting that a lot of you have customers that would just prefer to call the florist directly with the phone number you give them.

So many of our customers seem baffled on how to order flowers for out of town..they always say, "I need to order flowers out of town, how does that work?"

I always want to , jokingly, say "well, you pick up the phone and call a florist!"

We're happy to be of service to them...it's just funny how they look at it as a challenge. We also find that a lot of our customers dont' want to use their credit card so they'll come to us, pay cash or check and we'll take care of it.

Are you kidding?
3.00?
seriously?
We charge 12.95 and we are not in a wire service.
And when we were...it was 9.95.
3.00?

We live in a town with a population of 5,000. If we were to charge $12.95 our customers would get back in their car and drive the three blocks up to our competition and take care of it there.

Now, I'm not saying that we're the lowest bidder trying to get the most jobs - we stay competitive on pricing because we have to.

BTW... our corporate customers do NOT pay a service charge at all... only whatever the necessary delivery fee is on their outgoing orders. We sold them on this because the s/c is higher from the .comers rivaling us for their business and it almost guarantees us ALL their business.

Business people understand that savings vs a 10-15% discount with a .com company.

We were able to reatin a good number of our larger corporate accounts because of this discount.

this is very good advice, our corporates pay nothing for an outgoing service fee, our non-corporates either pay $4.99 if WE send the order, or NOTHING, if we provide them with a phone number, and it's catching on like wildfire!!
Here's the "surprise"...those that "pay" us to send their orders, have NO QUALMS in doing so......

Send your wire order via ezbloomers.com

Yes it's that easy... and there are no wire service or transaction fees. Keep in mind the order goes at 100%; there is no revenue sharing. Some florists choose to charge their customers a nominal fee for this service. This helps you to continue providing the excellent service your customer is use to getting. The sooner you register the sooner you could be rid of wire services. We have over 30 years of experience providing technology to the florist industry.
