These are just a few of photos I took at the Flower Show. I thought some of the work was quite good. I love the ones with the girl carving the melons.
The dresses were in an Interflora booth. This was a tremendous display. I think around 20 floral dresses were on display and they were all lifesize models.

The Anthurium design is quite good. The pillars or other art objects are covered with assort leaves that are glued on one at a time.

There were about 20 designs of this caliber and as I get organized, maybe I can put on some more of them.

I love the ones with the girl carving the melons.

That's my favorite too - I love pretty food, or food that's made to look like flowers/sculpture. Amazing!

I have seen images of this watermelon carving before.....check out this link....there are schools you can attend to learn the art.......It would be fascinating to learn and add this to our repitiore as designers.
