Got an order through FSN today from this" florist" A FLORIST IN THE USA - 954-962-6775
Seems like an OG but I thought FSN only had real florists, so I'm checking with you all. If it's an OG I will be quiting FSN.

I did it! Whois says this:

Sorry pretty excited I have that all figured out now :) But so sorry a DOG got through FSN

I'ev got another one for you that I forgot all about. At MD machines off, Buttwipe kept calling "very good customer needs flowers, we've promised".............sorry Buttwipe, beat it. Calls back and gets me after 8 or so on Friday and asks, "can we send it to you through your website and pay you 80%", these guys are getting more clever. FSN will "handle it".............but now they know another way in.

IF FSN clearly stated that they only worked with real florists and then betrayed that statement without (ample) notice of a change in their policy, then they a scum.

If they do not remove them then they are not doing what they have promised. We have been on the fence with going with them for wire outs. Looks like I will just stay on the fence and continue to use my debit card and hand out phone numbers to the folks that want them. I would point it out to them, they honestly could have been snowballed by that order gatherer but it is their job to check each florist. This is one of the few things I wish would go back to "the old way". Where a shop tour, picture, or some type of proof that you were an actual flowers shop was required.

We have one here too. This is not a bricks and mortar florist yet FSN has them listed, at a bogus address. How frustrating for customers to have to go and search for a florist at an address where they do no exist.

Helen, did you get a chance to talk to them? I'm quite interested, the few wire outs that I do go through FSN. If I were to trustingly choose from their listing and end up sending to an og, I would SERIOUSLY be pod.

OK I talked to FSN today and they swear on a stack of bibles that this Florist in the USA has a brick and mortar store. I told them the rumor is that JF and others were sending through FSN, too. (that's what some FB page said I think) Anyway she flat out denied it. I asked if TF ever sends through them for coverage and she said no. For now I guess I will choose to believe that to save myself the aggravation of finding shops on my own. The ease of sending FSN with through FW is hard to give up. But if anyone has proof positive that she was lying, I would like to know. (I have trust issues.....can you tell?)

We paid several thousand dollars to purchase a list of florists with physical address which we check every florist that regeristers against to determine if they really exists. Additionally we only allow florists to enter the zip codes of their deliverable area - no florist receives orders that are not in their area. I think this prevents OGs from signing up unless they actually have a delivery area they service directly.
