Large wedding arrangements and pricing

It is not that you are not welcome, it is that the way you need to price things and the way we need to price things is totally different. You do not have nearly the same overhead as a retail florist. .

See, the deal is so many "free Lance out of their homes" haven't invested the time and education to do a professional job and charge accordingly. We have so many "free lance aka Basement Betty's" who think playing with flowers is fun and hey they can make some money on the side doing it. Never paying taxes, utilities and all the other expenses involved in being a store front business. They come and go, so many producing substandard designs and poor mechanics and not really doing anything to contribute to the floral industry except giving the brick and mortar stores a black eye as being "too expensive" when we have invested in this industry in further education and selling out the front door and not out of the back.

I KNOW there are professional wedding free lancers who do not have store fronts doing beautiful work. However they charge accordingly and most likely have paid their "dues" in the industry.

when someone wants so much detail and so many flowers, she has to pay and you have to charge for all of the planning involved and the labour.
At $80.00 she should get something a lot more simple and with a lot less flowers. Price the containers and the flowers and add your labour and good luck with bridezilla. lol
