You are right of course (crappy choice) but unfortunately THAT is the ONLY choice. I'm a little surprised that Crosbie is even supporting the Red Neck party let alone be a part of it! With 79% of Canadians against the invasion of Iraq and Harper chomping at the bit to get Canadian forces over there as one choice and "the bribe us with our own money" Liberals (notice that isn't a small L liberal) as the other choice the only prayer in hell we (read Newfoundlanders) have is that we get a minority government with no one in absolute control. :tread:
To those who consider being liberal (as in small L, this time) as bad, keep in mind when you're thinking outside the box next time that that would be considered liberal thinking (opposite of conservative thinking!)

A majority government only benefits the party that wins - the country sure doesn't benefit from it. I'd love to see a minority government but I don't think it's going to happen.

The only way Bush can figure out who in the Arab world is friend or foe is to dispatch the whole lot of them to Allah. But even an idiot redneck like him is not going to nuke 30% of the worlds population out of existance . Look back to Reagan and the elder Bush who financed Bin Ladin as long as it was against the Soviets , you reap what you sow . Don't think the logic , of hunting terrorists allow Bush to invade whoever he feels like , cause the biggest threat is from his buddies in Saudi Arabia and he's too busy sticking his nose up their asses for campaign contributions to see the problem.

As you know the Liberals and Conservatives sway with the wind and that their names are only that, names since I'm sure there are times that the Conservatives have been to the left of the Liberals position and vice versa! I agree NO landslide would be helpful but Canada is a liberal country (that's small L) and it shouldn't be any other way as without the liberal (open minded/think outside the box) thinking the industrial revolution that started in England in the 1600's (?) may still be unknown to us; we wouldn't know what it is to fly etc etc etc (along with the bad things done by bad people who take advantage of advances through the centuries)!
TOTO, I know you're a liberal thinker in some way; just because a new idea etc comes up doesn't mean it's good (or bad) but without the liberty of our western world and open minds we wouldn't be where we are now. Hell, we may not have figured out how to harness fire without a little liberal thinking!

Here's another thing to add to the mix Blue... I find it ironic that people will vote for darn near anything from Idol's to Best Public Bathrooms but "don't have time to vote" in a political election. :boggles:

By the way Audra... I'm with you. Harper and the "PC's" are NOT the answer in my world. My reaction to him is right from the gut.
