I lost my best friend and companion yesterday. My beloved Butch's health really declined the past 10 days. Seems he had heart and liver failure. He really had a hard time breathing his last 24 hours. He lost weight, wouldn't eat, and had little control of his hind legs.

We had the vet come to the house to examine him and put him to rest. My sons were with me and he went peacefully across the Rainbow Bridge. My heart is broken and I miss him so much.

My customers are signing a "Tribute log" on our counter. Many of them leave with tears in their eyes. He came to work every day gleefully and greeted them. Many came to see him on Tuesday, his last day of work. Now we're sharing wonderful stories and pictures of him.

Everyone loved him. Rest in Peace, my beautiful, faithful, friend.

So sorry - my 19 year old cat is on his last legs - each time he doesn't come immediately when I call him I start searching to see if he's gone, so I know I will face this soon.

My deepest sympathy.

My heart is sad for you. Butch and you had a grand partnership... how fortunate for you both.

Sue,

My love to you and yours. What a sweet face Butch has. I'm sure that you both shared a special love for each other. It's a comfort to me knowing that though they may not be with us physically, they are always in our hearts. It is evident how truly special Butch was not only to you but to everyone around. Extra special hugs to you this evening.

Dogs, who doesn't love them.

I have been through this a couple times.

First it was "Beaper", part terrier part beagle. The best dog ever! Everyone in Carlyle knew Beaper.

Then there was "Jay". part Border Colley (sp?) mostly Cocker Spaniel.

Each time I was the one who had to take them to the vet for ............. you know.

I was also the one who had to tell the other family members. I could think of a lot of other things I would rather do.

Now.... we have a new member.

I will be posting pictures soon.

The point is I know how you feel tonight and its not easy.

all the best.

Having just recently losing my little chihuahua Prissy, I know how you are feeling and I know how much you will miss your baby.......as I miss mine. We have another dog now, and he is special.....but he does not fill that hole left behind.......but the amazing thing is how much our hearts have the capacity to love.

Yes, one day you will be re-united with your Butch, and laugh as happy tongue kisses rain over your face......until that time when you and Butch cross the rainbow together......enjoy the memories.

Sue, I'm so sorry to hear of your beloved companion's passing. Hugs from Maine.

Thank you Sue.

Thank you Sue for loving your dog. Thank you Sue for adding this love to your consciousness and for adding this love to the Aura of the Earth.

Thank you for harmonizing with the vibrations of Universal Love and making it manifest here.

We can experience a little Heaven on Earth because of our dogs. I know our dogs do experience the same because of their lives with us.

The reward for Love is more Love. Sue you have earned your reward.

Doug, Pepper, Joey and Baxter
