VCR voodoo

I tried to tape it for Cathy using a different method and I crashed and burned. However I scanned ahead and see the show is playing Friday. I will save it to my PVR and then send to the VCR as I do all the time for my brother.

Keep those fingers crossed Cathy.

My one piece of advice to any designer that has an opportunity to appear on TV is to heed warnings from more experienced peers and not let yourself get so caught up in trying to please the producers (for their 'entertainment' value) that you let yourself be seen as less professional than you are in real life. Their short-term approval is not enough to erase long-term impressions.
 
Cathy, editing is king in reality t.v. No matter how sane and normal you may be, the editor can make you look like a screaming ninny. That's how I felt about the young man who won. I'm sure he's a great person, but oh my, if I had to spend a long time with him, I'd be wanting him to "move on", like his mother. ;)
