Since FTD is not having a convention this year....might consider going.

FTD IS in fact having a convention this year...it's gonna be in Toronto, and it's called Ontario Florists Conference 2006.
You are ALL welcome to witness first hand how hard FTD and florists here in Canada, have worked together to turn this into a premier North America event!
And should you REALLY want to see how hard FTD's team, and OFC's team succesfully makes this thing work, volunteer your time, and show up at planning/coordinating, and early (real early) morning setups.

just to bump this thread further, it WAS Frank Stornelli and Mike Soenen, and George Kanganis, and their whole FTD team that ENCOURAGED the OFC Committee to follow through on it's comittment to open UP Ontario Florist Conferences to ALL florists, NOT just FTD florists...ALL florists, whether FTD, or TF, or Blossom's Network, etc. or NO ws affiliation at all!!
FTD STILL paid the shot for free rooms, and went wayyyy beyond it's mandate in welcoming everyone EQUALLY...just so you know!!
