Oh the joy of FTD reps....

From July through December they were charging me close to 200.00 each month! I told them I wanted out. I signed up for a six month deal that was only supposed to be 99.99 from January till June.. They told me no hidden fees, only 99.99... Boy was that a lie or what

Ouch! Seems like the rep didn't give you the FULL scoop.

Wow, I'm still stuck on your remark that "she hung up on you." When I was an FTD rep in the '90s, they would immediately FIRE one of us if we did that! But, I guess that was THEN, when FTD was a member owned association, and we were field SERVICE reps, not sales reps.

sometimes people do not tell you the whole story...do you really think the ftd rep just hung up on her withou any provocation at all???? Im sure, the called was pissed and was yelling, possibly cursing.....prior to the ftd rep hanging up.....

sometimes, people leave out little details...

Please do not make me out to be something I am not. When I called I was hoping there had just been a mistake. I did not call her names. Nor did I curse her in any way. I did point blank ask her why she felt it was o.k. to lie to me... She hung up on me at that point. After this issue I called the FTD main line and told them of the issue and the fact that she hung up on me. I can be blunt and to the point when it comes to my money...

Make sure you send FTD a certified letter in writing that you are quitting, and they do have strict rules for quitting. They tried to sue us when we left, of course I just ignored the lawyers and told them to take a hike. I was just recently told by another shop in town that is trying to leave, that FTD tightened up their contract to make it more difficult to leave and also to force you to fill their orders. We had sent a letter in writing, and they still would not cancel our membership. In fact I think I am still listed in their directory and it's been 3 or 4 years since we were members. Read your contract completely, and cover yourself!

we quitt FTD in 2007, same bull@@@@ missed the date and ended up with another three months. At that time we had a wire out order to some florist for a funeral order. Customers had wanted it at the funeral home rather then the house etc and she ended up doing another piece for their house. Long story short I had told her she didn't need to do that but she said that was fine and wouldn't charge me for the second piece. My bill comes and quess what i got charged twice. At that time the rep was aware we would no longer be part of Ftd and had no desire to phone me back. I tried e-mailing him as well with my concern and same result, nothing. Prior to that we were his best friends, buy us coffee etc. I tried phoning the Ftd headquarters several times and got the run around. Needless to say I did not pay the last bill. I had tried to resolve it, not to mention i had some extra charges on there which I also questioned, and not one person could phone me back. Now two years later I have the collection agency phoning me to pay the bill. Its all about principle at this point, its only $300 something which I would have paid had it been fair. We'll see how far this will go but I refuse to pay them. I have two words for FTD, scam artists. Oh and since then I've been asked twice to come back. I'm still laughing

That was an unkind insinuation/assumption by the person saying that you swore at the rep.
