Every time something like this happens I *wish* we had an executive who could contact these scammers and represent ALL of us so we didn't have to waste time one-at-a-time. *sigh*

On the plus site, I don't believe the name pages are spidered or I would have noticed this sooner.

we show up but so does our telephone number. So if you want to call direct you would get us. But I have never received an order from this guy.....

this is the kind of stuff SAF should be help the independent florists with......

I get Stargazer which is what I get for my zip too.

I thought this was a local shop we have here named Stargazers but guess not?
 
I searched for a post or thread on this subject and this is where it brought me.

I got a call yesterday afternoon from this company. A guy named Fred told me that I had requested info on the PFS Florist Service. Not to my knowledge I haven't. Went on the tell me how important it was for the local florist to take back their business from WS and OG. He had my email and wanted to send me some info. He also wanted my CC info so he could list me for my zip code. The deposit would be held in escrow he said. It was on a first come serve basis and he needed someone in this area. Also wanted my banking info for deposit and debit of orders I would be getting and sending. He said they were looking to have 16,000 florist and when I asked him how many they had at this time he couldn't give me an exact figure because they were getting new florist everyday.

Any way the info was there when I check my email this morning. I went to this site and there is already a florist listed. I called her to ask her about her listing and she didn't know anything about and had never heard of the company.

The email stated that the florsit would get 90% and they would get 10% for admin fees. You would be listed on a top search engine and could also do florist to florist orders.

Sounds like another BS company. He sent a list of florist that I could call and talk to that are part of the program. He said that the florist would own the company and everything depended on their decissions.

I can't even respond to this. You might as well just respond to those phishing emails that say there is a problem with your bank account.

Tell him to take a flying leap.
 
Oh, I have no intention of doing any business with this man. I guess they are on the prowl again.

I don't need a network to do florist to florist business. And I'm sure not going to give anyone my bank info.

Just hope the info in this thread help someone one else that have been contacted by this company. For beginners in the industry it may sound like a really good deal. Although it is not.
 
Got a call from Fred again yesterday. Really needs for me to sign up quick. Needs to have 16,000 florist by August. I asked how many he has now, around 20 or 30 he said.

He talked so fast that he was confusing. I wanted to know how long he had been trying to get the 16,000 florist and never really got an answer. This thread was started over a year ago, so I guess at least that long.

He kept telling me that the company was owned by all florist that signed up. I told him that kinda sounded like FTD when they first started, owned by the members.
Well these are past employees of FTD, Teleflora, 1800 and they know how to make this work for the florist, he said. Yeah, right.

I have no intention in going with this deal, and for all of the new members out there please be wary of the group.

WOW, is he long winded....

I just got on the phone with him to ask some questions and he is a windbag and a BS artist....
 
Oh wow! Good ol Fred is at it again I see. I ran had a situation several years ago trying to get me to sign up. In the past several years he's made several promises and never comes through on anything. Beware of this guy! He's probably using your company name to gather orders. Search his sight thoroughly to see if he's using your info!
