Consumers are dissatisfied with WSs. They may be selling to more people but I believe much of the growth is through heavily discounted affinity programs that add volume and not profits.

FTD did show profits last quarter. How much was made through 'currency exchange' VS real products?

In defense of the second picture, I priced this pic out yesterday and made a sample to see how it would look. It is only done with 4 stems of white alstro 2 pine cones, artificial berries and a few spigs of greens. Easy to make , 6 minutes,looks great and actually is a great money maker at 27.99. However, I will make it $30.00 and add another stem of alstro. Just because I really don't want arrangements under $30.00 on the website to deliver.

It's interesting how many of you charch between 60 and 100 bux for these trees. We get ours pre-made for around 15 bux, add 10 bux worth of decorations and sell them for 50. Dang.. wish I could get 100 bux for 'em!
Frankly, I don't like them. They are very 1970's and the boxwood stinks. Just my opinion.

Different prices in different parts of the country. Pre-made boxwood trees from wholesaler are $19.50, must buy by the 4's.. then add the trimming , design time and mark-up..We show our's at $88.95.. smaller verson $65.95. remember we must buy them by the 4's so there is a liability.
But we do present a class (next week) teaching how to make these. It is our most popular class..we only cahrge $25.50 for the class and I'll bet we go through a full box of boxwood by the time everyone has picked through it and picked out just the right pieces to use.. but it is a great PR event
