I would like to know since this is a password protected board..ie you have to register to read ALL the information, and EVERYONE on the World Wide Web is welcome here has anyone considered the fact that some who are registering here ie..Wire Service EMPLOYEES or Suppliers are trying to use this SITE to GATHER information to use AGAINST US REAL FLORISTS????.

I believe I'm being STALKED...PERIOD!.

Get rid of the "invisible mode" on this board unless your the moderator of Threads..

SEE, you think of things as a Wire Service. I asked a QUESTION in CHAT and YOU KNIFE, turned this into a TREAD of Wire Services with your smart a** comment.

I say let them read, and knowing they most likely will not respond (even in the Technology Venues provided here) BOTH companies could learn something.

Main thing they need to learn is that we REALflorists have a our web and communicate on a daily basis. They can not read PM's and or Email so the covert conversations are still safe and will remain so.

With regards to reading public postings, perhaps (highly unlikely) one will take the bold step to become florist friendly thus putting the hurt on the other. Could be done so easily, but GREED will prevent them from doing so. Kind of the Deer in the headlights look... they DO NOT get IT ! They are about to be run over by that 10 ton truck.

Far as I'm concerner the more the merrier and the more that read the more (perhaps) will start to realize their meal ticket is no longer viable in todays market. They have moved from a partner to a liability in many ways and are unlikely to reform, as the money has become more important than doing what right and in their long term best interests.

Hey Knife I'm sorry for over reacting...

Friday was a very bad day for us with our shop cat having to be put down after 17 years. I was torn apart and it didn't help to have a fall out one hour after this with the WS.

Were cool....and life goes on.

They love to print out things said here...build a file and claim to use it to sue.

Instead of doing their job they want to know what someone is saying so they can look good to their boss yet the boss is not paying their salarys, WE ARE. Ryan I'm not trying to be paranoid but I know what I have seen here in the last 3 days. I wonder why all of a sudden a person registers to this chat board when the HEAT IS ON? I know the answer to this, trust me.

Ifinn you folks think that it's ok to "hide" while on this board...so be it...that is what went wrong with that "other board" and look what happens there..nonsence annoymouse posts popping up.

We have almost 400 active members. I cull out the inactives, so that's a pretty accurate representation of the membership.

Now, you have 6 posts in this thread. That means you account for atleast 6 of those views. Probably more, since you view the thread after other people post, two. I'm in for 5-6 views, too. It doesn't take long for the viewing to add up.

If we are active members who registered here who have access to all the treads..right? then why have a hide mode on the home page showing who is on line here?.

I was not talking about who is registered I was talking about the screen which shows the screen names who are LIVE and the ones who are CLOAKED(HIDING).

Thats all....not trying to make a big deal about this but like tonight since I choose to use the hide mode I can look at the home page and see it say's who is on and how many "guests" are on and some of those "guests" are on line is what I'm talking about.

Their welcome here don't get me wrong but some of them have a twisted agenda.
I guess I need to call you to explain.....

Yes and some of these little vile creatures call up shops and when shops say they are members of BN, they get told BN is a OG, well if OGing was my goal, I'd be making easy money, and a member of one of those other companies. (those big 2) Some others out there are very jealous of other people's success's when they failed themselves. Or they have little spys lurking and reporting in.

I wonder if a few hours of legal depositions by my lawyers would do to correct their attitudes. They better step very carefully, because I will use every method at my disposal to teach them a badly needed lesson.

Yes some of us know, some of us don't know.

What it's all about is when someone comes out to fight for the Mom and Pop Florists out there, it appears some of these so called people who say they are for the Mom + Pop, don't have a clue and never spent more than 5 minutes in a flower shop in their lives, and I have a cause and that cause is to help take back this industry from those who harm it.

Some of us lead with carrying a postive message and offering respect and affection for the everyday hard working Florist, while others don't seem to understand where truly their paycheques comes from. Sure I'll be painted as a nut case, or not knowing what I'm doing, but they said that about other people too in 1934 when another company started when they championed the cause of the "other florist" , "the little guy" back when many Florists felt they were being treated unfairly. The idea back then was a wire service for the florist, not just a few florists. Sad to say, that company has lost sight of that very goal.

Again in 1970 some people said another company would never succeed, but it was still going strong into year 1999.

This industry will be taken back street by street, city by city, state by state , country by country.

I think so ... because I don't understand your concern with "guests." Guests cannot read anything. Whatever the agenda, they can't read any info or post. They are threatless.

As for people who use the "Invisible" mode (not a feature I see a need for, but it's built into the software), they are still listed in the member directory. It's not like someone can sign up and no one will know they are here.
 
I guess what Blue is saying is that you can't tell they are on line. But I guess it doesn't matter. If they are members you have to assume they read everything you post.
 
Well Hell !

I see the "invisible Mode" has been taken away....

I fail to see the logic here. Maybe it's just me, I used the invisible mode alot. Especially at night.

Makes no difference really, I guess, but it worked for me.
