Rose buttonholes going brown..

Oh yeah, BTW- I put down a towel too- sort of an old school thing to do, but it's effective and I feel like I'm in "corsage/bout mode" once it's down. :>

I hear what you are saying about using a fridge freezer but i have never had any problems before. Over here, it is not really that necessary to have one because of our weather conditions. I would only be getting one so that i could do work more in advance.

Thank you all for the advice, i will certainly be taking it all on board and will definately use a towel from now on. :)

Shannon, thanks for the tip on the crowning glory. As I am siting here at home, heh heh, should be at work :>) BUT I am doing my THINKING, & I was thinking maybe someone filled our crowing glory spray bottles with the liquid floral life. That can get sticky in it's full strength & even diluted down some. I am going to do a test at the shop today. I used to have some gallons of floral life around before I went to the 5 gallon pails so maybe they got mixed up with the crowing glory. I don't spray it on the darker color flowers or red roses because it seems to spot them up. I was wondering how it is going with the decision to buy or not buy Martha Lees flower shop. I would like to see you make a go of it. carol
