So Cal Earthquake

Cathy, Eric and everyone in that area, glad everyone was OK. I used to enjoy earthquakes until we had the big one in '89. Since then I'm probably the first one under the desk :boggles:

I lived about 40 miles NE of San Francisco when the earthquake hit in '89. That was so incredibly scary, even at my distance! I was 8 months pregnant with triplets and home alone. Yikes! Were you in Santa Cruz at that time? Double yikes!
 
IMO the worst place to be when an earthquake hits is in the shower with your hair all soaped up. Talk about feeling vulnerable.....

I've actually experienced one here on the island...in an even more vulnerable location (and no, this one's no lie...)

Sitting on the toilet...water starts splashing...

Couldn't figure it out for the life of me...I was scared....let's say...SPITLESS!!!

Too many horror flicks so checked between legs for an anaconda or other serpent coming up through the pipes.

Now where exactly do you go in that circumstance?????
