I just wanted to know who the newest member of Chat was and your Name listing provides NOTHING.

Anyone can help me? Was hoping it was Cocarri but since he called the Bit*h at TF a Son of a Florist on his way out..I think it's just another insider who is afraid of Griff and Jerry and I.

As to Gregg, I would personally like to see him join in here, and Bob too for that matter. We may not have liked all the things they did or did not do, but THEY are both very smart men, and have alot they could share.

Now that they are outa the day to day in flowerland, maybe they could join forces. I know, maybe they could start a florists union...

Now that would be a kick in the pants to the industry wouldn't it....
 
Who am I ?

Hey there! Not who you thought I may be.. I am Douglas and a new guy here in Denver trying to make a name for myself. I was referred to this board by that nice lady over at ilocalflorist.com. Read the other flowerboard - however, like the information on this one as well.

I am brand spankin' new to this industry - so at any time, please do not hesitate to send valuable hints and feedback my way. I am interested in talking with other owners in medium to large cities that have faced the issues of being a small guy in a city of big guys.

Thanks for the welcome.... I may not be contributing much - more taking and digesting information.

Shel, that happens beacuse they show up when they register, but until they are granted access their profile is not open to anyone...

Thanks all for the messages - it is a little dasunting coming into a group like this where it is more like Cheers - everyone knows your name - I am hoping to get some feedback - but am leery of posting out for the world to see. Seems like everyone wants to give you a piece of their mind and at times - be more than a piece.... seems pretty safe here...

Don't be daunted - this is a great group of people even if some of them are a little crazy ;) ! We're a diverse group and we get richer everytime we gain a new member - but new members only add to the whole if they post - so please, post!

I always like it when someone states their name and their shop - as many here can vouch, most of us support the shops that frequent this board. I've come to know and appreciate the skills these fine people have and I'm glad that I can call most of them my friends. I hope they feel the same way.

I think all guests can see the posts.. they just can't post.. at least that is the way this board has operated.. but lots of stuff changes.. maybe that haschanged too.

Spent all day working in my garden.. since I live in the woods and on hills that sre was not as easy as it sounds.. and the mosquito's are vicious,, next time they may fly away with me.. that big and that hungry .. had to sit in the hot tub for an hour to get over their bits.. and I only got about 8 ft of the hillside garden done.. time for a nice cool drink.

Carol,

Guests cannot see posts - period. Always has been that way at FlowerChat.com. The conversations here are for the members only. I have even blocked most search engine spiders from searching this board.

I'll tell you. They can see everything, with the possible exception of BOSS's private Advantage Users forum. The only thing they cannot do is post.

Ryan, I'm afraid Carol is right. I just logged out. All the cookies were cleared. Exited out of IE and went back into FlowerChat. It told me I cound not post but it allowed me to view all the messages in every forum.
If you think about it, why would there be a Guest account if they could not view anything?

Thanks George.. I thought it was only me and maybe I was over stressed or something but as a guest I could see everything..just not post..
