OMG..he has them in several colors..seems like he never ran out of them...several times I hid behind a palm tree when he walked by....
Now to the picture...The Shadow's eveil twin took that shot and magnified it..I know I am not that overweight...well at least in my mind...so much for a personal trainer...think I will give up on the early morning tortures at 6am and go back to sleeping in till 7am..seems like the trainig is not working!
And Bill..the lovely Sher would like a word with you next time you are in my area...uh huh..I'm talking to you!

i totally agree that it is the camera's fault. someone borrowed my camera and took a picture of me.
the result was that of an old man with graying hair!!!
you can be sure that i am having a conversation this morning with the canon sales representative....

The SAF Convention was just OK for me...that's because I learned I have to have gall bladder surgery the day before I left. Haven't been feeling well for sometime, and at least I now know the reason. I couldn't stay or attend a lot of the events, due to feeling ill. I did take up drinking, which certainly helped dull the pain! The highlight of the trip for me was getting to hang out with FC buddies...Twila, JB, Sher, Erlene, BJ, Coastieflowers, Dee Dee and the good looking Enrique Suave...better known as Bill Schodowski. JB has some of the coolest outfits in history! I wish we would have taken more pics of the FC'ers together. Twila has some pics...hope she will post them. The pic I have attached was sent to me from Bill...I was wearing a dress that got "stuck" to everyone and everything! I told everyone, "Don't touch me!" Pic is Bill & NavyBrat at the President's Banquet.

OK OK....so here are a couple pic...yeah I'm not so good at taking a lot of pictures either...oh well....

In case you don't know...the first picture is of Di and myself with the ever handsome Mr. BJ himself. It was great to finally meet F2F after reading all his wonderful posts. You all know who the Gray Fox is on the right with Lady Di. (I almost called him "Silver Fox"...wouldn't that have been a faux pas?!)

Oh and by the way..in case you are all wondering....Dianne DOES have gorgeous HOT pink eyes - just like her Avitar!!! :unhuh:

I thought you might like to see a couple of the lobby arrangements that I particularly liked. Our very own TheTonmeister was in charge of all the flower decor. Thanks Tony!

You know folks that all of us have a "pick up line" or did when younger..well Dianne has a "pickup dress"...for real...she has this gorgeous looking dress and uses it for nefarious reasons...we found that she would turn up missing during dinner and come back with "oh someone touched me and we got stuck so I missed out on the entree...uh huh Dianne...sure it was the dress! lol
That was the funniest part of the Conference..Dianne and her "don't touch me" line...even the cute waiter got stuck to her while pouring coffee...Nice pickup line GF!

He's had a few "Clyde's" in his day. Someday, maybe he'll share with you his experiences importing Exotic Birds and Monkeys from South America. I can't remember the exact number that he had at one time, but his little house was Wall-to-Wall Zoo Animals. I remember a picture of me holding an Ocelot. I think it looked something like a small leopard.

My new boyfriend...

We were lucky enough to go early to Florida to have a little "Pre-Convention" fun. The Wonderful and Generous and Sher met first Erlene, then Jonathon and I at the airport. She opened her lovely home to us and we all enjoyed being able to stay both before and after the convention with her. What a great hostess she is!!

Unbeknown to any of us, Sher had set up an afternoon adventure for us. We went out to the Everglades and took a ride on one of the cool Airboats. It was like a scene right out of "Flipper", one of my favorite TV shows as a kid.

After a short ride, Captain Tim stopped the boat and gave us a bit of info about the area. He explained that in Florida it is against the law to "feed the alligators, but it's ok to feed the fish". So he proceeded to "feed the fish". Within a matter of seconds, Hugo swam right up beside me.

I've never been that close to an alligator. He seemed so calm that I really thought about reaching out and petting him. You all know what an animal lover I am. But being the smartest of the two siblings in the boat, I dared my brother to do it instead! :iwuvyou:At that point Sher insisted that I quit daring JB to do things. Apparently some of that intelligence had rubbed off...he declined my dare. I guess it would have been a bit difficult to keep up all our web stuff with a bloody stump.:ryan:

Anyway... on the way back to shore, Captain Tim also declined my request to show us how fast the boat would go and do some "Spins". Somehow he thought that in doing so, it might sink the boat. Well, I could have driven it for him...I do have MY boaters license orttopor(even if it is an Oregon Boaters license).

And all I wanted to do was liven the day up a bit....Thanks again Sher for the fun adventure! :blowkiss:
