I will make sure that my list of possible florist I would visit willbe shortened by a few shop because I would be scare to say something that would create problems for your health.

Luc:
I'm am really sorry that you have taken offense to what I and some of the other women on this board have written. I posted to you with sincerity, and good intentions.....intentions to make you think before you get yourself in hot water...because you are the BOSS AND SHOP OWNER.

Being the Boss and Shop Owner carries with it the burden (if you want to call it that) or the responsiblity of acting as a thoughtful adult. A person who would not even ask such questions to a male or a female.

In my much earlier life, I was once involved with a company that was headed by very powerful men. Women were seen as sexual objects, and no question was too personal, and no comment was too off the wall, gross or invasive to be asked. Your answer to their questions could determine your next promotion or raise.

My boss (VP of Finance, Human Resources & Legal) was one of the worst offendors. Shortly before I left the firm, he and the company was sued by a female employee over similarly crude uncalled for questions & comments that he made to her. She settled the case, the file was sealed, and she walked away with about 1 million $$.

Are you willing to risk your business over what you think are harmless christmas party questions??

The possible questions you posed are ones that I would not pose in same sex company -- with my employees -- let alone mixed company with spouses or boyfriends present.

And by the way, you are still welcome to visit in Pittsburgh, even if you don't take kindly to my "WHAT THE H**LL ARE YOU THINKING!! motherly instincts coming out at you!! :)

Regards,

Cheryl
