Dennis, I just learned how to add a photo. On the page where you are writing your reply, scroll down to "Attach Files" and click on "Manage Attachments". This will take you to a screen where you can browse your computer and pull it from a file.

I had a family stop by the shop one day to order funeral flowers, the wife of the deceased said "I know what I want, but I don't know if you can do it", of coursed I told her ask away, if it's possible, I can do it! It seems the deceased was an avid vegatable gardener and his wife wanted a casket spray that looked like you picked it from his garden. I said no problem, here's the finished product.

I had a similar request. The deceased was a gardner and the family wanted me to come to the garden and cut vegetables and design them in the casket piece. But, please do not put stakes in the vegetables because we are bringing it home after the funeral and cutting up the food and serving it to the people that drop by to eat.

We had a customer who wanted us to make a spray for a child who had died. She wanted us to add dalmation dogs (plush), but we didn't have any. When we asked if we could substitute another type of plush, she replied that it had to be dlamations. Why? Because the child had been killed by a dalmation.

I also did one which had potted African Violets because the deceased raised them.

If any of you know Pam Rowland, AIFD, you may have heard her story that she put sweet potatoes in her grandmother's spray because, for several years, Pam had helped her grandmother plant, tend, and dig her sweet potato crop.

That photo and the first paragraph is from a post by desndennis. I'm sorry it came out to look like I had designed the spray. It is a great looking casket piece.

The second paragraph is my addition to the post. I was amused by the fact that they were eating the casket spray.

It was a challenge to make it without putting stakes in the vegetables. I did use a wires and some wire picks and other assorted ways of rigging it . I used a lot of foliage from the garden for the length. Actually it looked a lot like desndennis 's design.
