I think our efforts are best spent lobbying and educating the consumer than trying to network ourselves with the same failed business model of the OG and WS. The association on Facebook could accomplish goals such as those mentioned here. Anyone who wants to take our industry back, please let me know I will get you to the group that is working that goal.



Sorry, but this "we gotta band together" "educate the consumer" has been being said now for a very very very long time.

I wish I could bring back a quote from 10 years ago that said the same thing.

Sorry, but maybe if it keeps being said, someone will actually get it right. I am not saying that it will be me or anyone here right now, but change does eventually happen.

It just remains to be seen. People need to have hope that these things which are apparently so far out of their control can be changed.

Let them have it.

YES!

Who would have predicted that Delaflowers would have TAKEN DOWN all of their PHONY listings of legitimate florists in their "network" of florists in LESS THAN A WEEK!


It happened for just three reasons:
  1. We have a network of people that CARE.
  2. We COMMUNICATED
  3. We TOOK ACTION
I think there may be a lesson here somewhere.
