I saw your post yesterday, but couldn't bear to read it. In July 2008 I made the tough decision for my best friend, Butch. He went to work with me evey day and was my constant companion. I, too, had the vet come to my home at the end. I drank Pepto Bismol right from the bottle that day and had my 3 boys with me. We all hugged and held him 'til the end. My heart goes out to you as I truly understand how you feel. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. We will meet our beloved friends over the Rainbow Bridge some day. Their suffering is over and they are happily waiting for us!
