Mom's Butterflies or something like that.

Is it just me or is that a rather unnatractive uncompelling design/arrangement?

I started to feature it on my site last nite and decided against it.

I don't know anything about design but I do know what's pretty and this seems very mediocre.

Why I think I could do that design.lol

Well it looks BIG and SHOWY! Very cookie cutter style, so easy to sell.
IS it a web...special?
Price point? 79.99

One of their "featured vases". The one that the butterfly really flies OFF the vase rather easily I may add (and no I don't have any, just know some florists that have)
Oh and JB, it's plain, yes...

JB, design is very country/wildflower look. If I know TF's design specks all the flowers are in the front, but arg is supposed to be all around. If the burgundy flower is either ranuclus(sp?) or lisanthus good luck to anyone on finding that color for MD. Is that stock or some other flower in purple? Again good luck in finding that color in quantitiy.

PM me got something to tell, or you can call.

JB:

George is correct, flowers are all pushed to the front, with instructions that this is a ONE-SIDED arrangment. Since we almost never make a vase arr as one=sided, we would be doing it differently.

The purple in the arr is actually mini carns.

We were turned off by the high cost of the vase, the stated size of the vase & opening, and the suggested retail on the arr.

Oh, and yes, the arrangement is NOT PRETTY!!

ps: the butterfly does not stay attached at least 1/2 the time. word to the wise...from a source who bought 48 of these vases.

What's this......A COOKIE Jon does not love.......??????? Could the world be coming to an end?? Is the sky falling??

lol

It is not a very attractive arrangement at that.

Oh I'll be sellin' 'em, not to worry.

I've just seen a lot more yummy cookiez is all...

I don't like them all Reekie, but if they sell - well - WTFDIK or for that matter WTFDYK?

I do not have one codified container for Mother's Day.

What do you think?? Will I have a successful holiday?
I'm betting that I will.
Plus, less design work, less specific product purchased (which we all know, that the specific product is always priced higher, with smaller bunches), less contract drivers..... The plus part of all this goes on and on......

Today, off of my website directly- I did $500.00 in sales. My stuff, my designs, what I get good deals on and want to push. One sale for $169.99 for 3 dz roses!!!
Plus, a $650 funeral that I got because of a vase of tulips that I had sent from a web order a month ago.

I'm telling you guys, you need to break away from "Big Brother".

I see it as a win win!

You could always try "enhancing" the contrast in the photo to make it more colorful and more appealing when viewed online. Only reason we left it on our main page was because of the price point and TF will be featuring that one.

The purple flowers look like sweet william and the burgundy flowers look like spray roses and mini carns to me but, I've been wrong before...

Actually, just looked at the list of flowers included:

The radiant arrangement includes white alstroemeria, light pink roses, hot pink spray roses, Sweet William and miniature hot pink carnations accented with Queen Anne’s Lace.

I didn't get one of the specials this year and I really do not care...

I don't even care if it ruins my holiday...

Today I hate everything about this place and this business,

Carry on, brothers and sisters, carry on!!!

Lori, I gather you are not a very happy person with all the negative posts you dish out!

Carry on!!!!!!!!

Actually, I am a happy person, I am just miserable as of late...

and some subjects just make me more miserable...but generally I am a pretty happy person, This year has been a really tough one and I am having difficulties dealing...Sorry about my negative energy...

I have simply found that I can find much nicer containers and vases elsewhere and create my own specials for alot less than those wire service thingy's.
I think it is an absolute outrage what they charge for those containers and then you can go pick them up a year later at an outlet for $1.00.
I have just decided if someone wants that stuff they can go somewhere else. I want to offer something NOBODY else has. Good phone sales is key, talk it up on the phone and you will move it.

Well, it will be ONE of my "feature" arrangements...due to:
a) it will sell in my area
b) the TV commercial
c) easy to cookie-cut
d) we upped the price by $15 for all-around.
e) it will sell in my area

Yes, I meant to say that twice...

- H

PS - the big seller so far is FTD's M3...

I think the arrangement is pretty enough.

What I don’t like about it is the vase with the narrow neck, tough to design in without making the arrangement too upright. The vase is also too little and does not hold enough water to support a decent arrangement.

If the recipe is followed it will look like a glorified bud vase for $60.00 plus delivery

…a real disappointer in my book.

"If you’re looking for a truly unforgettable disappointment for Mom, you've found it."

Will they sell well? YES!(thanks to marketing and advertising) Will you replace a lot of them and have some unhappy customers? YES! (again thanks to marketing and advertising). Some of these photos are unfair to our customers. They are misleading and deceptive.
