Perhaps I should have stuck this under rant I just don't know.

I have been fighting (think pitbull on steroids) with TF since a couple of days B4 TG over the way they handle their coupons. They insist I am the only complaint they have gotten.

And today I got so mad I just burst into tears! I have been a little under the weather so aybe that added to it ...BUT they made me cry!!!

I am so mad and I can't drop them so here is what I am going to do. Anyone that wants to join me I would just love you for it.

The owner of TF also ownes 40% of Starkist, Dasani water, and POM Pomegranate juice.

So I am boycotting these products all of which I used to buy blindly not knowing - NO MORE!!!

Thank you all for letting me go off

Some of us already know about the other products. Personally, I don't buy them. You don't say why you can not quit them. I don't understand why you would'nt quit them. Seriously. I quit them and it took over a year before they acknowleged my quitting but it was the BEST thing I ever did for this shop and I would'nt go back to TF if you pointed a gun to my head.

Love,
Chez

Dee, what if your dad had to be the one to deal with all the bs on the phone with tf? He might change his tune. Also did you ever try CHR's Profit Calculator? If you guys are making $ then fine but what if you weren't? Would your dad still be set on being a member?

Tell your dad to try this, its what I did one day,

-Make yourself a nice big cup of coffee or hot chocolate
-Gather up your TF statement for whatever month or months you care to sort through.
-Put your reader glasses on*you may miss some fine print
-Go up into your bed and snuggle up with your monthly statement cuz this will take some time, bring pen and paper.
-After reading and re-reading, you may come to the realization that you are being screuwed with your pants on.
-Turn the light off, drift off to sleep and cancel TF the next morning.

*Seriously, read the statement very very closely and the light will go off!

The way i undestand for the coupon is accept them on a teleflora codified product either in your store or for out of town orders.

You gather all of those coupons, go into your directory, find the coupon redemption forms, and send it in for oyur money or credit on your acount.

Pretty simple I would say.

If it is too much of a problem,
1, do not accept anymore coupon
2. accept the coupon and do not bother collecting it from TF if it is just for 1 or 2

Luc

I'll take any coupon and not worry about redeeming it either.

You just gonna let them have those sales willingly?

Hello?

Well all I guess I should start by saying this. My father is a really great guy.
He often has trouble 'passing things on' but not the TF statement that went right to me. He has believes what he believes and even his wife (mom) tell us he can be an immovable obeject when he wants to be. This does not make him a bad guy or dumb it's just his way. I am sure there are a ton of you out there who if you saw my Dad you would realize you know him. I have had many PM's asking about my dad because people remeber him so fondly. That's it for Dad - the next generation has to wait it's turn period.

Sorry so busy - post in between things.

No I took the orders, from my website with coupon code applied. Person gets a 'receipt" on thier end for price minus $5.00. Then TF charges them full price. Well my customers pride themselves on being cheap Yankee's they all check their cc's daily and start calling yelling at us saying our site ripped them off. So you see my shop gets the black eye not TF. more after customers if you can stand it

Dee i have no idea about the coupon thing you talk about but just wanted to say sorry they made you cry, some people are horrid!! I always feel upset when i am under the weather so i know how you feel. Chin up, and btw my dad knows everything too!!

You just rant away to us, thats what we are here for!!

Okay, let me see if I understand......

You have a TF website. The website indicated that there is a $5 coupon. Your customers thought they were redeeming the coupon let say for a $60 order minus the $5 for a total of $55 but they instead got charged the $60 and they called complaining to you. Is that correct?

What is TF saying about it? Was it a faux coupon? Did they charge their extra BS to get their money while piggybacking off of your order? Are they saying that the customers are incorrect? What's the deal?

Ok I am going to try to answer all questions. Luc - No these are not walk in's handing me paper, they are on-line with my TF website.

Flwrctr - your understaning seems correct and at first TF just denied it. Untill I had a customer (irate as h*ll) come in and give me copies of everything cc- statement, bank record, reciept from 'my site'. I faxed everything over to TF.

TF then started saying this must be an issue with (fill in any dept. name here) and they would transfer me around. Each person saying "oh they were wrong that has to be (fill in any dept. name here)"
At this point I have a list of 21 names - each TF person I spoke with.
Let me remind you I cried today - this has been going on since b4 TG.

When I told the last supervisor I was calling Tom Butler at home she spent days calling me back assuring me she was working on it, and that she would get me an answer and "Please don't call Tom"

She then called and said we processed all coupons wrong - it's our fault, but TF gave each person a $5.00 credit back to their cards as the cc code was indeed entered and entered correctly. I almost lost it but decided you get more bee's with honey. And said OK so why don't you explain this to me so I can get it corrected going foward.
BTW - we have always processed coupons on-line and never had this issue b4.

She tells me I have to add a discount into these orders and then fill to value. ( I ague that this changes the tax amt.)

1 day later - Calls back "sorry I was misinformed", you need to re-adjust the amount once it is brought into your computer. (I argue that I have never done this b4 and if I change the amount the person's cc will re-auth)

1 day later - Calls back "sorry I was misinformed", you need to do a multi pay on every coupon order with a bunch of steps. ( I argue I never did this b4) She asks me if I am refusing to do this. AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I say "no I will do whatever it takes to provide my customers with the best service possible" Now please tell me what page in your manual these extensive directions are on and I will begin following this proceedure.

A long silence follows - she doesn't know "but please don't call Tom" I will get that answer for you.

Her supervisor calls me (A NASTY MAN!!!)

He says "I understand you are refusing to follow this proceedure" NO A*shole - I say no I want to know what page in your manual these extensive directions are on and I will begin following this proceedure. He says "Oh I will call you back

Many days pass - He calls back Him - "the directions are not in your manual"
Me - Then when were they sent to TF memeber so I can look them up
Him - I dont believe they were
Me - They are or they were not????
Him - They were not ever sent out
Me- Provide the mto me right now via e-mail while you stay on the phone with me so you know I got them
Him - Um, madam they are not written anywhere
Me - So how am I supposed to know how to do this
Him - I just told you how

There is more than this

I also was a loyal tf florist. finally realized how much money we were losing. i've been with ftd for three years now. I was ready to dump them too because their fees are out of control. After notification of intentions all of a sudden my fees are just 99.oo a month.

Do you have a note on the order that a coupon was used? I'm thinking when we get a coupon there is typically a note on the order and I have to remove that amount before I run the card.

what a mess.

OK, I sort of went through this at Mday. I noticed my customers who were ordering on my tf site were entering the co-op coupon.

I called web services to inquire about this as I had not seen this before. They first said, yes, you will be paid for all coupons used on your site, just deduct the $5 as you would if they were there.
I questioned the fact that I didn't have a coupon to turn into them. And asked if they were tracking on there end these "internet coupons". I was put on hold for a long time. I was then told yes.

I told them I wanted something faxed to me in WRITING that I would be redeemed for these coupons. They refused saying there was nothing they could send me. I argue for a while then ask to speak to a supervisior.

Supervisior tells me they can not send me anything in writing.

Somewhere here after speaking to several people someone tells me they can not guarantee I get the coupon redeemed.

I tell them I want the box on my website that allows a "coupon code" removed. They tell me there is no way to do this. I ask them who's website this is and they respond that it is mine. I tell them, then take that box off.

We go round and round and they still refuse to remove the box. I then tell them, I'll tell you what, either you remove the box or I am turning off my dove for Mday, and canceling my website for good.

All of a sudden, I get I will look into this and call you back. I get a call back a couple hours later and they say it will be removed in 12 hours.

It WAS!!!! Problem solved, no more upset customers and no more coupons that I can't get redeemed.

Its not so much getting the coupons redeemed as it is teleflora putting this little box on my site, letting customers use the co-op coupon online (which in itself is a great idea) Its the fact that they expect you to honor these coupons and in no way intend to offer a redemption on them, they REFUSED to give me ANYTHING in WRITING saying just what they were telling me on the phone, that yes, in fact, I would be redeemed for them.

They count on FWOAC, so sorry but, you must look elsewhere, you have no power here!
