Don't set your hopes to high on Cujo .... been there, done that. Most over-rated goaler in hockey, IMHO. Still ... I don't want to see the wings out in the first round again ... that would be a shame.

The only reason I don't want the Wings out is that I have 5 of them in my pool. The real Red Wings showed up last night for the first time ,they crashed the net , they went into the corners and paid the price that it takes to win in the playoffs. Wonder why it took 5 games for them to show up, they are bloody lucky that Nashville doesn't have the firepower or this would be over already.

Sad to say, best we got at this point... maybe it's his time to shine...

And yes, Sunny, I concur, but I think the MACHINE finally turned on the switch, and while I would like to have them win at home, hopefully it'll be done Saturday night...
 
Now boy's did we forget?

If we don't learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it.

Let's not forget also in 1992 defending champ Pittsburgh fell behind Washington 3-1 getting outscored 20-11. The Penguins won the next three games on the way to repeating as champions.

Oh well another playoff year , another exit by the team in Red. Can't say they choked , they were just out hustled by a much hungrier team, than wouldn't quit. Wings need some younger blood especially on defense, and some less disruptive people in the room ie Hull, Schneider, Chelios. Time to unload all the oldtimers and retool .
